Jacaranda were delighted to be appointed caterers for the Cowdray Park Polo Club Centenary Ball which not only marked 100 years of Polo at Cowdray but also the start of the Veuve Cliquot Gold Cup. The evening was absolutely perfect for the event where 550 guests enjoyed a lavish champagne reception followed by dinner and a fantastic firework display over Cowdray. On the menu were individual slate platters of hand cut Sardinian artisan cured meats with chargrilled vegetable cannelloni, artichokes with organic buffalo mozzarella, roasted tomato and parmesan crisp. For the vegetarians it was marinated beetroot and goats cheese, stuffed baby aubergine & Greek yoghurt. The main course was specially selected fillet of British beef with butternut squash with spring onion sauce and bowls of the best Jersey Royal potatoes. Lastly was a fabulous display of miniature puddings that guests could help themselves to at their leisure these comprised Chocolate delice- Summerberry jelly- Lemon posset & Tropical knickerbocker glories. Once the meal and fireworks had finished guest’s partied away until the early hours to a rocking band and enjoyed vodka cocktails kindly provided by Ivan the Terrible Vodka.
