Charity Bike Ride

With the wedding season starting to slow down here at Jacaranda, I decided to take on the classic London to Brighton bike ride on Sunday the 17th September.

Starting on Clapham Common, I set off with 5,000 cyclists. The route took me through Mitcham, Carshalton, Banstead and Haywards Heath before finishing in front of Brighton Pier.

I was riding to raise money for Bike 4 Cancer – which was set up by a group of keen cyclists who have all lost a family member or close friend to cancer. As a specialist cancer respite charity with a sporting focus, they provide relief from the difficulties of living with cancer.

On the way:

A hearty cuisine for a quick halfway stop in Turner Hill.

A quick selfie at the top of the grueling Ditchling Beacon.

The team raised over £25,000.00 during this event so thank you to everyone who supported me!
