The History of Jacaranda with ‘The Wedding Secret’

When chatting with Alex, The Wedding Secret’s content manager who created our listing, it got us thinking about how far Jacaranda has come. So, let’s take a trip down memory lane…

In 1998, Bee, Jon and Ian formed Jacaranda. These were their aims:

  • To create outstanding food
  • To provide excellent service
  • To always give great attention to detail
  • To offer excellent value for money

With these simple and honest goals in mind, the Jacaranda team began their journey. Nestled within the stunning South Downs at Cowdray, Bee, Jon and Ian started creating innovative meals, using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

As time went by, more and more people discovered Jacaranda and, pretty soon, the team were creating delectable dishes for weddings, parties and events across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.

As the orders came in, the Jacaranda team grew. A group of talented, passionate and dedicated individuals were chosen to help ensure that the company’s four original aims continued to be upheld with every booking. Let me introduce the team:
