The Jacaranda team would like to announce our first monthly ‘Jacaranda Supper Club’ where the team will be heading out once a month to try the delights and delicacies of different restaurants from around the South East.
Our first ‘Jacaranda Supper Club’ we attended the ‘Duke of Cumberland Arms’ Italian tasting evening where head chef Simon Goodman and his team of very talented chefs created a six course tasting menu which was accompanied by a selection of Italian wines from Monte de Fra “Hills of the Monks” located in the village of Custoza on slopes overlooking Lake Garda supplied by Berry Bros. & Rudd.
Simon Goodman explained to us, this evening was to showcase quality ingredients which complimented each other and we thought every single dish was truly delicious. It would be very hard to pick a favourite dish out of the selection as we know that there was a lot of thought that went into each element and the combinations worked perfectly.

The Good Food Guide’s pub of the year 2012, Duke of Cumberland Arms is well known for their excellent food (Sunday roast is a must try!), great selection of local beers and magnificent views from the pub’s garden. It is also very much Jacaranda’s local and often our Christmas party destination.
