Dear Bee,
We were very sorry to miss you yesterday when we called in to return the two vases and the coffee cups. We also left a small bottle of Grand Marnier for you, as a small token of our gratitude to you for making our Anniversary Party such an enormous success. I really can’t thank you enough for all the hard work you and your team put in to it.
Every detail was perfect. Your help in organising the lay-out of the rooms and the tables and chairs was essential. When the tables were laid out with the white tablecloths and the glass and cutlery etc., together with the flowers, it all looked so attractive. As for the food, every course was quite superb and all my foodie relations couldn’t praise it highly enough – in fact, one elderly cousin said it was the best meal he had ever eaten in his entire life! Please, do thank Jamie very, very much for producing such high-quality food, together with the delicious canapes, and all so beautifully displayed.
We should also like to say how much we appreciated your staff being so efficient and friendly, but also for being so unobtrusive. After the two speeches proposing our health and my husband’s reply, one cousin spontaneously stood up and congratulated the caterers for putting on such a marvellous spread. I only hope they heard this.
As you know, we were quite delighted with the flowers and several guests complimented us on them. So your guidance was there in everything.
David and I and all the family who attended will treasure this occasion in our memories, and it is in large measure due to you that it was such a happy celebration in every way.
