“Dear Nigel,
Now that we have ‘come down’ from the wedding I just wanted to write to thank you for your wonderful planning and management for the big day. You could not have been more helpful, accommodating, resourceful, reassuring and professional during the weeks and months leading up to May 24th and the success of the day was due in no small part to you.
As you have probably gathered poor Minty and her team had to cope with appallingly wet and cold weather all day and a lengthy power cut during dinner. I have to say that the team were supremely professional and remained cool, calm and collected to produce a wonderful meal despite the difficult circumstances and all with a smile. Truly miraculous!
I have rung Minty to thank her personally but I just wanted you to know how much we appreciated all the joint efforts of your wonderful Jacaranda staff. Most of our guests were blissfully unaware of the problems and we had many effusive compliments about the food and service throughout the wedding.
