I wanted to thank you on behalf of Olivia, Pete and Martin, as well as myself, for the superb day you provided us with on Saturday. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you from the very first phone call. We are so impressed with your enormously high standards of professionalism and attention to detail – as well as your calm kindness when we, for example, changed the colour of the table cloths. Throughout you have made us feel that nothing was too much trouble to ensure a perfect day for Olivia and Pete. When Karen Sommer told me you were the man to manage the event she was completely correct – and we have both been singing your praises to the other local guests.
Throughout Saturday evening and Sunday guests were coming up to me to comment on the delicious food and the lovely, low key but highly efficient manner of your staff. I even received a note, post marked Buckingham Palace, yesterday commenting on how delicious your meal was and the efficient, smooth running of the day. (To be honest, that was not from HRH herself but from one of her staff who lives in Kirdford and was with us on both Saturday and Sunday and regularly deals with Rhubarb or Mustard at the London events – and Jacaranda more than held its own in her view).
There is no question that the happiness of the day and its relaxed atmosphere was down, to a very great extent, to you. We are enormously grateful. Please pass our thanks on to the staff involved.
We will be including our praise of Jacaranda as a whole on the website – but wanted you to know that your contribution in particular was most highly appreciated.
