As of last Wednesday, Jacaranda became the Best Wedding Caterer in England, as voted for by you, our clients, and chosen by an elite panel of expert judges at The Wedding Industry Awards 2013.
Ian, Nigel, Georgie, Minty and JJ travelled up to London to attend the lavish awards ceremony at The Bloomsbury Ballroom, somewhat nervous after last year’s encounter of coming so close to scooping the main prize but coming home Highly Commended.
Bloomsbury Ballroom was absolutely packed to the rafters with some of the brightest lights in the wedding industry, all enjoying everything from the new Lanson White Label to fun times in the photobooth.
What was already a great evening turned into a truly memorable, fantastic night when we heard our name called out as Best Wedding Caterer 2013 and made our way through the cheering crowd to receive our award on stage from TWIA founder, Damian Bailey, and Sky News presenter Sarah Hewson.
We were also delighted that our joint regional winner, Kalm Kitchen, took home a Highly Commended accolade as well. We had a brilliant time mutually celebrating with Jen, James and the rest of the Kalm Kitchen team. It’s safe to say that couples in our region of the South East are spoilt for choice when it comes to award-winning caterers!
This award is a real highlight in Jacaranda’s long history and more than anything, we feel incredibly proud and grateful to have been part of so many wonderful weddings and to have exceeded your expectations. We cannot thank you enough for taking time to vote for us and we will continually strive to uphold this wonderful reputation we now have for unparalleled excellence.
