Creative Wedding Menu Displays

Menu_0004Believe it or not, there are some guests who sit down at a wedding breakfast without any idea what they’re going to be eating. There are others who made a selection months in advance and have forgotten what they chose. As such it’s not only a lovely idea, but also a very helpful one too, to have your wedding breakfast menu displayed.

Whether you choose to have individual menus printed on pretty stationery and placed in each setting, opt for a miniature easel displaying your menu as part of your centrepieces or opt for a bigger, communal display on a blackboard or quirky sign, we really advise letting your guests know what they’re going to be eating.

In addition to jogging their memories, you’ll also be able to give them the opportunity to  think about which wine they might like to accompany their meal. As such, it’s a good idea to list your wines on there too so that they know what their options are.

Furthering the role of the wedding menu as a useful tool, you can also add a list of explanations about teas & coffees after dinner (at the table or elsewhere?), when the speeches will take place and whether the bar is cash or open.

It’s not all about function over form though. Your wedding menus, if done beautifully or quirkily enough, can be conversation points for the tables if there are some people that don’t know each other. You can get as creative as you like, mix it in with your colour scheme or design theme and further the reflection of your personalities throughout your wedding.
