There are definitely perks to having our HQ located next to Cowdray Park Polo Club and catering for the annual Gold Cup Polo tournament on our own doorstep is definitely one of them! It really is a spectacular day out and one that we are proud to be a part of year on year.
On Sunday 21st July, we were out in full force for the Gold Cup finals. This year, we ran the smart corporate tent catering with one hand whilst also looking after the members’ bar enclosure with the other.
We decided to serve tapas before the game between 1pm and 3pm from the cool little Citroen Van and then followed this popular little dish with a BBQ of pulled pork ciabatta rolls and and slow cooked west country rump of beef. It really was as delicious as it sounds and, happily, it was completely sold out!
