Pat yourselves on the back Jacaranda

Dear Minty

Your calm and completely efficient manner was so reassuring to us all and boy, did the event go off like clockwork. However it was with a charm and style that did not feel in the slightest bit military! The whole thing wandered happily through the afternoon and so brilliantly fuelled by you and the team.

The letters are pouring in, telephone calls and emails are, to a one, full of nothing but praise for the food, completely endless flow of champagne and all the other drinks. Your staff did a wonderful job of getting round everyone and keeping them topped up with the delicious array of food and lots of fizz. There were a lot of very greedy and appreciative foodies amongst our guests and they have been waxing lyrical which is music to my ears.

The canapés and all the sandwiches and cakes were pitch perfect so please thank Jamie for all his hard work.

The quail egg with black pudding and the fois gras were massively popular with the men – the salmon and the tuna were a hit with the ladies. So you got the balance spot on and just kept it coming – this was just what I wanted and you delivered!

Thank you also for introducing me to Caroline from Nordic Twigs – everyone loved the flowers in the marquee and they were just perfect.   The huge foliage circles and the hanging glass baubles with the white roses in were modern and highly decorative.  I know you must have thought we were mad when we said we were going to put a fishing hut in the tent, but it did provide a focal and talking point. Caroline made it look delightful with her pretty flower beds around the base of the stage – again this was much commented upon and apparently some thought it should head for Chelsea Flower Show!

So pat yourselves on the back Jacaranda – and in particularly you Minty, made it a truly wonderful wedding. Thank you from all of us and I know the bride and groom loved every minute of it all.

with many many thanks and best wishes
