Part 1 – “Dear Minty, As I type this the tents are disappearing before my eyes and we’re all finally coming down to earth after the biggest high ever!!
Thank you so much to you and everyone at Jacaranda for doing such an incredible job on Saturday night. You all worked so hard to fulfil our dreams and managed to exceed our expectations in creating the most amazing party.
Every message of thanks so far has mentioned the “unbelievably delicious food” and the friendliness of the waiters, waitresses and bar staff.
You personally have been such a lovely person to work alongside and I am in awe of your endless calm and ability to keep smiling even when you must be physically and mentally exhausted. I could not believe that you were prepared to drive to Midhurst at 3am to colllect more plastic glasses after having already been on your feet for so many hours – definitely beyond the call of duty. True to form, you returned on Sunday with another burst of energy and continued sense of humour, and you did an incredible job of clearing up while we all enjoyed breakfast from Coco whilst barely functioning! You put us all to shame.
The bar has been set very high for our future parties, but despite what Stephen said in his speech, I don’t think we’ll be making it an annual affair as it would be hard to repeat such an incredible night.
Thank you so much to you all and I hope you’ve had some time to rest before having to do it all over again for someone else this weekend. How do you do it?!
