Well. What can I say…we knew Jacaranda would be good, but WOW.
Let’s start with Georgie – such a professional, incredibly efficient and amazing at her job. She put me at ease as soon as we met and told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to worry about timings or anything else – just for us to enjoy our day. And true to her word she took care of everything. What an impressive, capable and talented woman.
In fact all of the staff you provided were wonderful. Special mention has to go to Nick at the bar (I think he’s one of your staff…) who was so understanding and helpful.
Then there was the food!!! Ok, so I didn’t manage to eat any of the canapés (too busy with pictures) or any of the evening food (too busy dancing) but without question everyone was bowled over by the food. We knew they would be because we’ve sampled your food before, but to have so many people comment on how good everything was is something else.
Menu:
Twice baked comte and cheddar souffle with caramelised red onion, parmesan and truffle cream sauce
Roast lemon and thyme chicken, roasted garlic and rosemary new potatoes, savoy cabbage and smoked bacon and chicken jus
Apple tart tatin with vanilla bean ice cream
So our entire experience with Jacaranda has been amazing to say the least. You truly have exceeded all of our expectations in every way and it made our day even more enjoyable.
